 The
Invacare Infinity™ Gentle Contour is designed with mild abductor
and adductor contouring that helps provide neutral leg positioning.
Three distinct layers come together to form one Infinity cushion.
These layers, the Postural Support layer, Pelvic Support layer, and
Ischial Relief insert, work as a unit to provide the utmost in support,
positioning, and pressure reduction to meet individual needs. Infinity
cushions are offered with ViscoFoam or a FloGel Ischial Relief insert
or an AirFlo Insert.. The soft ViscoFoam insert provides excellent
conformity to bony prominences and is extremely lightweight. The FloGel
insert also provides exceptional flow and conformity along with dynamic
shear reduction. The AirFlo cushion combines the stability and support
of the postural support layer, with the very high end pressure reduction
of an AirFlo insert. The AirFlo insert is designed to provide optimal
immersion of sensitive bony prominences. |

Pelvic Support Layer - Made from molded, high-density viscoelastic foam is designed with client comfort and stability in mind. Trochanteric shelf helps support the pelvis while at the same time distributing forces away from critical areas. Ischial Relief Insert (FloGel and ViscoFoam cushions) - FloGel provides exceptional flow and conformity, and provides dynamic shear reduction. ViscoFoam provides excellent conformity to bony prominences. AirFlo Insert offers very high end pressure reduction designed to provide optimal immersion of sensitive bony prominences. A user-friendly, compact, hand-held inflation bulb allows for easy one-handed inflation and fine tuning of the AirFlo insert. Optional Removable leg wedges are available to accommodate hip-flexion limitations or to facilitate foot propulsion. An adjustable pelvic obliquity option can be ordered on the FloGel and VisoFoam cushions to accommodate pelvic asymmetries.
